Solitude is bliss

Solitude is bliss
Uploaded by Jessica Robertson on 21 Feb 2018 in Nashville

If you squint real hard you swear you see the makings of a ship from another time. The seagulls sore overhead, then land & scramble to the waters edge. The salty mist dampens your skin with each breeze of the wind. You feel as though you're on the edge of the earth & are overcome with questions like, " But just how many grains of sand ARE there?". A storm is rolling in, but you don't mind. The present moment has you cradled, yet you feel profoundly connected to all those who came before you.
